This is a permanent full‑time appointment of 76 hours per fortnight. Job share arrangements may be available.
We are seeking a Senior Physiotherapist P3 to lead a team at State Rehabilitation Service with a clinical caseload in Amputee Rehabilitation, supervising P2 and P1 staff in Trauma and General Rehabilitation Services.
Responsibilities
- Practices as a Senior Physiotherapist ensuring practice complies with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and SMHS policies.
- Provides advanced physiotherapy services to a diverse and complex rehabilitation patient caseload in the State Rehabilitation Service at Fiona Stanley Hospital.
- Acts as a physiotherapy clinical consultant/resource to physiotherapists and other health professionals, negotiating and collaborating with managers and stakeholders to support clinical service delivery and planning.
- Plans, implements, and evaluates patient safety and quality of care.
Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783‑bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose‑built mental health unit, maternity,
paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
