We are looking for a Service Representative, where you will be part of our Institutional Division. This is a contract role where you will be responsible for the installation as well as the upgrading of our equipment for our Aged Care & Hospitality customers within Melbourne and surrounding area. You will be providing value through key project installations of our Laundry, Ware Washing and Housekeeping equipment on site as well as providing escalated troubleshooting and maintenance support.
This is a pivotal role where the successful applicant will proactively identify and respond to known equipment failures, determine cost estimates and support our internal team through the implementation of service improvements to our customer operations. This role provides an excellent challenging opportunity for a motivated and results focused person with excellent communication skills.
This contract role may involve frequent travel and overnight trips to customer sites across Victoria. A company vehicle will be provided.
You will be responsible for:
- Installation of our Institutional equipment in partnership with our internal and external installation teams, identifying project priorities and managing service requests to ensure commitments are delivered on time
- Complete pre-Installation surveys and determine project costs and Bill of Material lists for project planning
- Service and support a small customer base, role is not aligned to a specific territory/route
- Ensuring the accuracy of project cost estimates vs actual project costings
- Provide training to internal Territory Managers & Customers on newly installed systems.
- Provide escalated technical support, across the servicing and maintenance of our equipment and software
- Work closely with our internal teams to create and deliver customer presentations on new systems and equipment, as well as organising customer trials
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous technical experience would be an advantage
- A hands-on approach to service delivery
- Possess a high level of communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain qualified relationships with our internal and external stakeholders
