The Opportunity

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for fixing things? Do you enjoy delivering exceptional customer service? We're looking for a Coffee Machine Technician to join our nationwide team in Sydney. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you'll be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, and repairing coffee machines across our fleet, ensuring every machine performs at its best and consistently delivers exceptional in-cup coffee quality. You'll work a flexible weekday schedule to meet our clients' needs across the Sydney CBD and UBD areas, with occasional travel to regional and interstate locations.

About the Role

- Conduct tests on malfunctioning equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
- Repair or modify equipment to ensure proper functioning according to manufacturer’s standards.
- Calibrate recent equipment and perform installations in corporate workplace hubs.
- Manage & order inventory of parts required for installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance tasks, including inspections, cleaning, and part replacements, while maintaining accurate records.
- Train the client services team to conduct minor troubleshooting and perform services to prevent issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to company and regulatory standards.
- Identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs, ensuring compliance with codes.

About You

- Experience with coffee machine repairs and installation or with similar small appliances is preferred.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude,



and a knack for quick learning.
- Display a preference for independent work while also contributing knowledge within the national network for ongoing improvement.
- Planning and priority management skills and adaptability to change.
- Showcase an eagerness to learn, advance skills and build upon existing experience.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various systems, including Apple and Microsoft products.
- Coffee passion and knowledge is a big plus!

Licenses & Safety Requirements

- Current Australian driver’s license.
- Restricted electrical license and construction induction white card (or willing to obtain).
- High level of manual handling i.e. able to lift approx. 18kg repeatedly and getting in and under cabinetry in confined work spaces.
- Willing to comply with all health and safety standard requirements and attend a pre-employment medical.
