As a Risk and Compliance Advisor, you'll support the effective management of risk and compliance activities across ART Life. You'll work closely with stakeholders to maintain high-quality risk data, support incident management processes, strengthen control frameworks and contribute to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

This role is a permanent prospect and is based in Brisbane or Sydney.
Responsibilities
Day to day, you'll:
- Support the delivery of risk and compliance activities in line with agreed frameworks and business requirements.
- Manage incidents through screening, assessment, triage, classification, remediation tracking and closure.
- Perform investigation of recurring incidents and contribute to sustainable remediation actions.
- Partner with incident owners to ensure actions are completed within required timeframes and appropriately documented.
- Maintain and improve control documentation, ensuring consistency, accuracy and audit readiness.
- Support the review and operation of key controls across the business.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of risk, control and incident data and reporting inputs.
- Support risk register updates and identify opportunities to improve risk processes and data quality.
- Assist stakeholders in understanding and applying risk and compliance processes.
Qualifications
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:
- You have experience in risk, compliance, assurance or operational control environments.
- Your attention to detail enables you to manage structured, process-driven work with confidence.
- You'll be skilled at balancing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- You're confident analysing data and producing accurate documentation.
- You build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Your experience within life insurance, superannuation or regulated financial services will be highly regarded.
- You'll bring exposure to incident, complaints or operational risk processes.
- You're familiar with regulatory obligations and risk, incident or case management systems.
