Service Stream is on the hunt for an experienced Projects Delivery Manager to join our Port Augusta team!

We keep communities connected. An exciting opportunity for a Projects Delivery Manager to join the team in our Port Augusta office. This prospect will suit a highly motivated and outcome driven individual who has a passion for delivering positive client outcomes, strong leadership, and a knack for effective stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for managing the delivery of the Annual Renewal Works Program (ARWP) and Capital Works (MCWs) and specific maintenance projects. This role requires travel into regional South Australia and the candidate will be provided a tool of trade vehicle to perform these jobs.

Key Responsibilities

- This role is responsible for leading a team in the delivery of projects, ensuring delivery to the clients expectations and within the required time, quality and safety requirements.
- Provides leadership, strategic direction and guidance to the ARWP and MCW teams, as well as management of internal and external relationships and contract performance
- Provide leadership in the creation of skills, well-being and develop a supportive work environment for delivery staff
- Delivers timely and high quality MCWs and annual renewal works while achieving value for money, maintaining collaborative working relationships, and providing adaptable and responsive services to meet DIT’s and customer needs
- Liaises with key stakeholders to meet safety, quality, environmental, budgetary and scheduling requirements
- Liaises with the Estimator to develop accurate estimates for MCWs,



ensuring market competitiveness costing is obtained from subcontractors and suppliers
- Overall responsibility for managing the phase-by-phase execution of packages through: scheduling and development control; estimating and budgeting; quality plan, control and assurance; document preparation; procurement planning; and works supervision and surveillance
- Undertakes contract administration for work packages, including liaison and engagement of subcontractors.
- Implementing and maintaining proactive risk, safety and environmental management to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and DIT’s specifications
- Ensuring MCWs and Annual Renewal Works are competitively bid
- Championing local industry and Aboriginal participation to maximise contract opportunities and achieve participation targets
- Maintaining current and accurate records in the Asset Data System to inform the Annual Works Program and Strategic Asset Management Plan
- Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation to improve financial performance and pursue delivery efficiency and value for money benefits in MCWs

About You

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Advanced subject matter knowledge across the function and advanced people management skills
- Experience in a project engineering or site engineering role and/or knowledge of the construction and property development industries, design management and engineering project management principles, and site management principles is highly desirable




- Commercial acumen and analytical skills for managing inputs and outputs of a commercial assignment
- Planning and organisational skills for managing competing priorities
- Problem solving, technical and analytical skills
- High quality written and verbal communication skills
