Senior Cleaner - Based In Ramingining, Nt

Join our Council Services team in Ramingining as a casual Senior Cleaner and play a key role in maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming facilities for the community. This role supports essential Council operations across offices and visitor accommodation. You’ll work in a supportive, culturally diverse environment where your contribution has real community impact.

What you’ll do:

- Deliver cleaning services in line with an established program, including floors, amenities, kitchens, offices, and laundry duties
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across Council facilities and accommodation
- Manage and safely store cleaning equipment and supplies
- Maintain a key register and coordinate access for visitor accommodation
- Provide basic administrative support related to accommodation and cleaning services

- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across facilities and equipment




- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and follow schedules
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and ability to use initiative with minimal supervision
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
- Experience living and/or working in remote Australian First Nations communities is beneficial
- Demonstrated cross-cultural awareness in a diverse workplace is advantageous
