About the opportunity

At Mercy Health, each moment, no matter how small, truly matters - and as a Cleaner, you’ll create cherished moments each day. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our facility, ensuring the well‑being and comfort of elderly residents.

General responsibilities include routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms. Ensure the Aged Care home is cleaned and maintained in accordance with prescribed routines and infection control guidelines.

What you’ll bring

- You’re reliable, resilient and have a whole lot of heart.
- Most importantly, you are genuinely interested in supporting others and making a difference in your community.
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles.
- Ability to work independently, a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- A sense of compassion & empathy towards elderly residents.
- Experience working in Aged Care or Health environment (desirable but not essential).





Required evidence

- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
