Position Summary

Ruyton Rowing aims to inspire the development of independent bold young women who through Rowing develop the skills, mindset, and leadership to fulfil their life goals. Ruyton Rowing fosters a sense of belonging and supports the development of a winning mindset through sequential skill acquisition and challenging students to “be your best”. The Ruyton Girls’ School Boat Shed is located on the Yarra River in the Melbourne Girls’ College Sheds. The Ruyton Girls’ School rowing program is managed by the Director of Sport with support from the Head of Rowing, Squad Managers, Rowing Coaches and Assistants. The Boat Shed Manager is an significant part of Ruyton Girls’ School rowing staff and integral to the ongoing success of the program. The Boat Shed Manager will at all times be consistent in supporting the School’s vision and values,



by demonstrating a concern for the welfare and development of each student, and by ensuring the students exhibit a suitable standard of behaviour as well as conforming to uniform regulations. The Boat Shed Manager will uphold the Ruyton Code of Ethical Conduct and support Ruyton students to train and compete with a high level of sportsmanship and support for their peers.
