We are looking for a capable and driven Site Engineer to support project delivery on site, with a strong focus on quality, technical coordination, compliance, documentation and safe execution of works.

This role will suit someone who enjoys being close to the work, solving problems in real time and supporting site teams to deliver safely, accurately and to the required standard.

The role

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will provide site-based engineering support across safety, quality, schedule, technical delivery and project compliance.

Your responsibilities will include

- Supporting site teams with technical queries, drawings, specifications and construction documentation

- Setting up and maintaining MDR files in line with the approved MDR index

- Preparing and managing ITPs, check sheets, drawings and supporting documents for inspections and sign-offs

- Conducting inspections with subcontractors, supervisors and client representatives

- Gathering compliance documentation, including certificates, test results, dockets and supporting records





- Compiling MDRs progressively for client review and project close-out

- Supporting implementation of HSE plans, project quality requirements and site procedures

- Assisting with inspections, observations, incident investigations and verification of competency requirements

- Identifying risks, sticking points or documentation gaps early and helping resolve them

- Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, HSEQ, Document Control, subcontractors and suppliers

- Promoting McNally’s values and standards in all site interactions

About you

You are practical, organised and technically capable. You enjoy being on site, working with different people and keeping the detail under control.

You understand that strong site engineering is not just about paperwork. It is about making sure the project team has accurate information, the work is inspected and signed off properly, risks are managed early and the project can move forward with confidence.

You will bring

- Experience in a Site Engineer, Project Engineer, Graduate Engineer or similar site-based construction role

- Experience in construction, mining, resources, modular construction or remote-area project delivery will be highly regarded

- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline

- Strong understanding of ITPs, MDRs, drawings,



quality documentation and site compliance requirements

- Strong attention to detail and confidence managing project records and technical documentation

- Clear communication skills and the ability to work with site teams, clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving

- Solid organisation and time management skills

- Confidence using MS Office, with exposure to MS Project, P6 or project systems advantageous
- A genuine commitment to safety, quality, teamwork and doing things properly
