Role Description Multiple QBCC licenced Site Supervisor roles for Hirecon’s clients currently available. These are full-time, on-site positions based in Brisbane, QLD.

The Site

Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily site operations, coordinating trades and subcontractors, and ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. Typical tasks include planning and organizing work activities, monitoring progress against project timelines, conducting site inspections, and enforcing safety and compliance requirements. The role also involves communicating with project managers and clients, resolving issues on site, managing resources and materials, and maintaining accurate site documentation and reports.

Supervisor will lead and support on-site teams, promote a positive work culture, and ensure adherence to Hirecon’s clients policies and procedures.

Qualifications

- Solid site supervision and construction management skills, including experience coordinating trades and subcontractors.
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety practices, site compliance, and relevant building codes or regulations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams, manage conflict, and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
- Solid organizational and time management abilities, including planning, scheduling, and maintaining accurate site records.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address site issues, adapt to changing conditions, and keep work on track.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within construction or related trades; experience on Brisbane or QLD projects is advantageous.
- Basic digital literacy for using project management tools, reporting systems, and mobile communication platforms.
- Relevant trade qualification or certificate, and/or diploma in construction management or similar field preferred.
- Commitment to professional, respectful, and inclusive conduct with all team members and partners.
