JRT Group has existing and upcoming civil subdivision projects across Rockhampton and Yeppoon and is seeking experienced Civil Site Supervisors to join our team. If you are a strong leader who takes pride in delivering quality civil works, maintaining safe job sites, and meeting project deadlines, this is your opportunity to secure ongoing work with a reputable local contractor.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

You will be responsible for supervising site operations across civil subdivision projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities across civil subdivision projects
- Manage and direct crews, plant operators, and subcontractors
- Plan and sequence works in line with construction programs and targets
- Read, interpret, and implement construction drawings and specifications
- Coordinate plant, materials, and resources to maintain productivity
- Ensure all works comply with quality, environmental, and project requirements
- Enforce Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards and conduct site pre-starts and toolbox talks
- Communicate proactively with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders
- Monitor progress and report on daily outputs
- Complete site documentation including pre-starts, timesheets, dockets, and reports

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Demonstrated experience supervising civil subdivision projects
- Relevant plant tickets and/or licences
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage crews and subcontractors
- Sound understanding of earthworks, drainage, roads, and services
- Ability to read and interpret site plans, construction drawings, and programs
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Strong commitment to safety and quality outcomes
