We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our development team and contribute to the design, development, implementation and maintenance of enterprise-grade software applications.

About the Role

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining high-quality software applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test and maintain enterprise software applications.
- Analyse business and technical requirements and convert them into functional software solutions.
- Develop scalable backend services, APIs and application components.
- Write clean, efficient and maintainable code following software engineering best practices.
- Perform system integration, debugging, testing and performance optimisation.
- Participate in software architecture and technical design discussions.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA Engineers and Project Managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and security best practices.
- Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures and release notes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely technical support.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and support automated deployment processes.
- Ensure software applications comply with security, quality and performance standards.

Skills & Experience To be successful in this role,



you will have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of qualified experience as a Software Engineer or in a closely related software development role.
- Strong programming experience in one or more languages such as Java, C#, Python or JavaScript.
- Experience with contemporary application frameworks such as .NET, Spring Boot, Node.js or React.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub or similar version control systems.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable Skills

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD automation.
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.
