About the Role An exciting prospect is available for a Software Manager – Embedded & Applications Engineering to join an established Perth-based technology company.

You'll lead a team of approximately 8–10 software engineers and testers across embedded systems, desktop applications and cloud platforms. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive engineering standards, modernise development processes, mentor engineers, improve delivery capability, and provide technical oversight across a mix of legacy and modern software products.

You Should Have

- 12 years' commercial software engineering experience
- Previous experience leading software engineering teams
- Strong commercial experience with C and C
- Experience across Windows and Linux environments
- Strong understanding of software delivery and engineering processes
- Experience driving engineering modernisation or process improvement
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

- Improve engineering standards, delivery capability and accountability
- Support software compliance and engineering roadmap initiatives
