About the role
We currently have multiple exciting and rewarding opportunities at Ironbark No.1 operation for experienced Underground Coal Operators. You will be reporting to the ERZ Controller and be responsible to work towards production targets safely and support efficiencies in all associated functions whilst undertaking relevant tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Working safely and efficiently in all associated functions, to support the achievement of production targets and undertake any other tasks for the operations.
- Preparation, planning and timely execution of daily work as issued from the approved weekly schedules.
- Contributing to the development of a protected, positive, and cooperative organisational culture.
- Provide a daily shift report, indicating the results of routine examinations carried out on the shift, any defects found and/or repaired, hours worked on each job, and an assessment of the relevant piece of equipment where required.
- Demonstrated experienced as Underground Mineworker in a Coal Mine.
- Previous experience on Joy Miners, 12cm12 and 12cm30’s.
What we’re looking for
- Significant previous experience working in an underground coal mine.
- Only people with the relevant experience will be considered.
- Standard 11 Surface and Underground.
- Relevant Qualifications and Tickets.
- Demonstrated history of working safely.
- Commitment to the achievement of business goals and outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
