- Greet and interview potential donors to understand their eligibility
- Create a positive donor experience
- Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests
- Set up machines and collections equipment
- Insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and platelets
- Monitor donors post-donation and assist them with rebooking their next donation
- Work collaboratively to achieve collection targets
Requirements
- Excellent customer-facing skills
- Genuine passion to deliver exceptional service to donors
- Comfortable with needles and blood/biological materials
- Ability to lift between 9-22.7kgs
- Flexibility to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster
- No previous blood collection experience is required
