The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality Indian cuisine, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting daily kitchen operations in a professional hospitality workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Planning menus in consultation with management

Preparing and cooking authentic Indian dishes

Supervising kitchen operations and food preparation processes

Monitoring food quality, presentation, and portion control

Managing stock rotation and ordering kitchen supplies

Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations

Training and supervising kitchen staff where required

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen workplace

Skills and Experience

Certificate IV in Cookery and minimum 1 year relevant work experience

Experience in Indian cuisine preferred

Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards

Ability to work efficiently in a busy team environment

Good communication and time management skills

Skills and Experience
