About the role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Solicitor to join our team at Fiveways Legal Pty Ltd in Tottenham or Nyngan, NSW. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to focus on rural and residential conveyancing (sales and purchases), property transactions (transfers, refinancing, subdivisions) and related matters. We can also offer the right person an opportunity to work in the wills and probate area, with succession planning and the intergenerational transfer of assets a growing part of our practice.

As a Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in providing legal advice and representation to our diverse client base, whilst contributing to the continued success and reputation of our practice. This position allows you to develop expertise across the conveyancing and other practice areas and build robust client relationships.

Key responsibilities

- Provide legal advice and representation to clients in conveyancing matters

- Draft, review and prepare contracts for the sale and purchase of land, legal documents, agreements and correspondence

- Conduct legal research and analysis to support client matters





- Manage client files efficiently, maintaining accurate records and meeting all deadline requirements

- Communicate regularly and professionally with clients to keep them informed of progress and outcomes

- Attend client meetings and negotiations, representing the firm's interests and values

- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and provide support on complex matters

- Maintain compliance with all professional obligations, ethical standards and firm policies

- Contribute to the development of new business and maintain robust client relationships

What we're looking for

- A current practising certificate as a Solicitor in New South Wales or the ability to obtain one

- Admission to the legal profession in Australia, with relevant post-admission experience

- Strong knowledge of legal principles and practices applicable to property law firm work

- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to clients

- Proficiency in legal research and the ability to analyse complex legal issues pragmatically

- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously





- Professional and courteous manner with a genuine commitment to client service

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high professional standards
