Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team in Bundoora, Victoria. This permanent, full-time position is essential for providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to our diverse patient population. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders, thereby enhancing the quality of life for our clients and supporting their families.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualised therapy plans tailored to each client’s requirements.
- Provide therapy sessions in both individual and group settings, ensuring a supportive environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
- Educate clients and their families about communication disorders and effective strategies for improvement.




- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in speech pathology.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification.
- Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) or eligibility for membership.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a medical or rehabilitation workplace.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient in using assessment tools and therapy techniques relevant to speech pathology.
