Papillon Paediatrics is a private paediatric clinic in Hawthorn East. With a team of dedicated paediatricians and allied health practitioners, our mission is to provide an all-inclusive, high quality multidisciplinary team service. Our purpose-designed boutique clinic comes equipped with high quality current furnishings, web-based practice software, lots of natural light and a friendly, supportive admin team.

Qualifications & experience

- Minimum qualification Bachelor of Speech Pathology (or equivalent recognised degree)
- Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status with Speech Pathology Australia
- Workforce experience as a paediatric speech pathologist
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Work rights to work in Australia
- Comfortable delivering both clinic-based and mobile services, including to schools and childcare/kindergarten settings

Tasks & responsibilities

- Conduct assessments including CELF-5, PLS-5, Renfrew, TOPL, OM and other standardised assessments in clinic and educational settings to determine and individualise therapeutic goals.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary assessments alongside the medical and allied health team.




- Provide early intervention therapeutic services to paediatric patients and families working towards their goals.
- Provide tailored support for speech sound disorders, receptive and expressive language, fluency, social communication/pragmatics, feeding and swallowing, and literacy-related skills.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities.
- Maintain accurate case notes for clients using an electronic clinical record according to practice protocols and professional standards.
