Role Description The Store Assistant role at PACK & SEND Australia is a full-time, in office position based in Perth, WA.

The Store

Assistant will support daily store operations, including serving customers at the counter, providing packing and shipping advice, and processing bookings through in-store and online systems.

Responsibilities include handling parcels and freight, preparing packaging materials, labeling and documenting shipments accurately, and assisting with inventory and stock management. The role involves coordinating with logistics partners,



maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting retail sales initiatives and promotions.

Assistant will also help with basic administrative tasks, follow safety and compliance procedures, and contribute to a positive, service-focused workplace.

Qualifications

Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with a wide range of clients and provide helpful, professional support.

Experience or aptitude in Retail Sales to assist with in-store transactions, upselling suitable services, and promoting PACK & SEND solutions.

Good Organization Skills to manage multiple bookings, handle documentation, and maintain an orderly store and packing area.

Ability to participate in and support Training activities, including learning new systems, procedures, and safety practices, and sharing knowledge with team members.

Basic computer literacy and comfort using point-of-sale and online booking systems.

Ability to lift and handle parcels safely, following manual handling guidelines.

Prior experience in logistics, retail, or warehousing is advantageous but not mandatory.

Reliability, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude.
