GTNTGroup are now recruiting for an Aircraft Maintenance Apprenticeto work with Chartair PTY LTD in the Alice Springs Region.

We’re looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our team as B1 or B2 Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, working on Chartair’s fleet of aircraft. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced engineers, gain valuable on-the-job training, and work towards your CASA B1 or B2 Licence in a supportive and professional setting.

To be successful in this role, you will have

- A genuine interest in aviation and aircraft maintenance
- Commitment to completing a CASA-recognised B1 or B2 apprenticeship program (4 years)
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- A positive attitude and dedication to safety




- Identify as a first nations individual including aboriginal or Torres Straight Islander

Highly Regarded, But Not Essential

- Previous exposure to aviation environments (e.g. hangar work, aviation studies)
- Completion of pre-apprenticeship or relevant aviation coursework

Mechanical aptitude or experience in a technical trade

Qualification Description:

This qualification applies to employees of Civil Aviation Maintenance Organisations (AMOs) or to members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) who perform scheduled inspections, fault diagnosis and repair, and modification of airframes and airframe mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components, and of aircraft engines and (where applicable) propellers.

Nominal Duration:
This qualification has a set nominal duration of 48 months.
This is the amount of time you need to be committed to, for successful completion of this qualification
