We Are Currently Seeking An Enthusiastic And Passionate Behavioural Therapy Assistant Who Is Available To Work With a Family In Kalkallo For 2 Sessions Per Week Ongoing
- Wednesday 4:00pm-6:00pm
- Friday 4:00pm-6:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 therapy to clients in diverse settings, including home/clinic/school
- Support clients in developing their skills; communication, social interactions and emotional regulation
- Collect client data to track progress and identify areas of improvement
- Foster a positive environment that encourages client participation
Skills & Experience
- Studying or completed a Degree/ Certificate in Psychology, Disability, Education, Occupational Therapy or related field (preferred)
- Experience working with children is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A passion for helping individuals reach their full potential
Requirements:
- Working with Children Check & NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You'
- Australian Driver’s License & Vehicle
- Laptop/iPad - you will be using your own device on shift
