Our Vacationer Program

As a William Buck Vacationer, you will experience first-hand how your university studies translate into a career path. Our program will give you a taste what you can expect as a professional within an accounting and advisory firm by being involved in real-world work and projects, learning as much as possible and leaving our program excited about the future.

We are currently seeking Vacationers to join our Audit team in January 2027 for 7 weeks.

Our Auditors conduct internal and external audits for our clients. Audit includes risk management, financial reporting, IT assurance and independence services. Our Auditors are often out at client’s premises conducting external audits of their organisation. An audit can provide assurance to a financial report for the stakeholders involved. Audit can also include risk management whereby programs are integrated into a business’ operational processes to improve overall performance.

What makes you ‘just right’:

- Eagerness to learn as much as possible!
- Be studying a degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Be in your penultimate year of study.




- Genuine interest in a career within accounting and advisory.
- A positive outlook and a willingness to make the most out of each day.

- 5 + weeks on-the-job and structured learning opportunities.
- A comprehensive induction consisting of both structured training sessions and on-the-job training, supported by a dedicated buddy.
- The first chance at being offered a Graduate position starting the following year.
