NTEX Pty Ltd are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Fitter to join our high performing team. This role is responsible for the planned maintenance and breakdown repairs of our heavy equipment and smaller plant fleet.
You will be based at our fully equipped East Arm workshop, working Monday to Friday, and paid an attractive hourly rate commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities include:
Undertake maintenance and repairs as required on machinery, vehicles, fixed and mobile plant and equipment
Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs on hydraulic systems
Undertake and record preventative maintenance services and equipment inspections in line with manufacturers guidelines and NTEX policies
Identify parts requirements and assist with sourcing for a variety of equipment
Provide guidance, training and on the job mentoring to an apprentice, supporting their technical development and safe work practices
Complete safety responsibilities including risk assessments, task planning and SWMs as required.
About You
We are looking for a skilled, reliable and safety focused Heavy Diesel Fitter who brings:
A recognised Australian Mechanical Trade Qualification
A strong commitment to safety and compliance
Good written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with and supporting apprentices (desirable)
Current manual driver's license
