Key Responsibilities

- Configure, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, forms, workflows, and integrations.
- Design and implement ServiceNow Field Service Management solutions including Dispatcher Workspace, work order management, scheduling, and mobile capabilities.
- Build and maintain ServiceNow Mobile Agent and Mobile App Builder solutions with offline functionality.
- Develop custom applications and enhancements using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer.
- Create and maintain REST and SOAP integrations with internal and external systems.
- Configure responsive forms, workspaces, catalog items, and user experiences aligned to business requirements.
- Perform unit testing, defect resolution, and support deployment activities through established DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Produce technical documentation, configuration guides, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards and governance.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation across the ServiceNow platform.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Ensure platform security, data integrity, and compliance with organisational standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer in enterprise environments.




- Strong hands‑on experience with ServiceNow Field Service Management (FSM).
- Experience with Mobile App Builder, Mobile Agent, Form Designer, Flow Designer, and Workspace configuration.
- Strong skills in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and Catalog development.
- Experience developing REST and SOAP integrations.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, data model, and application development best practices.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps/CI‑CD processes.
- Solid analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Field Service Management (preferred).
- Experience working within utility, infrastructure, or operational technology environments.

Our client is a medium sized Utilities organisation within Queensland Government.

- Competitive daily rate ranging from AUD 1000 to AUD 1100.
