Maintenance Team Lead - Defence Infrastructure

Note, this role will require relocation to Exmouth, WA. Relocation is supported and will be provided to the right candidate. This is not a FIFO position.

Northrop Grumman Australia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Team Leader to join our DARC program in Exmouth, Western Australia.

This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on technical leader to step into a critical role supporting nationally significant Defence infrastructure while enjoying one of Australia's most spectacular coastal locations.

Working 7 days on, 7 days off roster, you'll lead a team of skilled technicians responsible for maintaining critical infrastructure, power generation systems and site facilities.

You'll be responsible for:

Leading and mentoring a team of approximately 10 technical personnel

Ensuring the ongoing operation and maintenance of critical facilities and equipment

Overseeing maintenance activities, servicing and fault-finding

Managing contractors, suppliers and service providers

Coordinating shift activities and maintenance priorities

Driving a solid safety culture and risk management processes

Working closely with Defence and key internal stakeholders

Supporting site operations in a remote and highly technical environment

About You
To be successful you'll ideally have:

Technical qualification or equivalent industry experience

Experience working in facilities operations and maintenance

Strong understanding of diesel power generation and electrical systems

Team leadership or supervisory experience

Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving capability

Current NV1 Security Clearance or higher OR the ability to obtain and maintain one.
