We're looking for experienced solar and battery installers who take pride in their work and want to be paid what they're actually worth.

Solar Surge is one of the fastest-growing solar and battery installation companies in Australia, operating across Northern Rivers, Gold Coast and Brisbane. We're expanding fast and we need experienced installers who know what they're doing and want to be rewarded for it.

This isn't a role for someone looking to cut corners. We install residential solar and battery systems to a genuinely high standard — proper system design, clean cable management, and installs that look as good as they perform.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

- Residential solar panel installation on a wide variety of roof types — tile, metal, flat
- Home battery storage system installation (Sungrow, Tesla, Enphase and others)
- Inverter installation, commissioning and system testing
- Cable management and electrical connections to a high standard
- Working alongside a small, experienced team — no solo jobs on complex installs
- Communicating professionally with homeowners on site
- Completing installation documentation and compliance paperwork accurately
- Maintaining tools, equipment and the company vehicle

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR





- Proven experience in residential solar installation — at least 2 years in the field
- Relevant electrical licence or working under a licensed electrician (state-dependent)
- Current driver's licence — you'll be driving a company vehicle
- Genuine pride in your workmanship — you care how the job looks when you leave
- Battery installation experience is a strong advantage (Sungrow, Tesla Powerwall, Enphase)
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Solid communication — you represent Solar Surge in front of customers
