Seeking a friendly person to brighten the day of older Greek speakers in Darwin. You can make a big difference by making someone feeling valued and seen. Share a cuppa and make someone smile.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS) is a government funded program to combat social isolation and helps to develop social connections for older persons.

- Regular - more than 6 months

Type Of Work

- Companionship & Social Support,Seniors & Aged Care,

Time Required

- Volunteers are required to visit once per fortnight (although we prefer weekly where possible), duration of visit is up to you. We require a commitment of 6 months or longer.

Training

- Training is provided in addition to ongoing support from your local Volunteer Program Coordinator
