Store person with forklift licence and mechanical aptitude (no trade qualification needed)

Our client is a well-established business based in Silverwater and is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Storeperson to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, takes pride in their work, and is looking for long-term stability, with the potential to transition from a temporary assignment to a permanent position.

Working as part of a close-knit team, you'll support daily warehouse operations while assisting with the safe handling, storage, and movement of stock.

Key Responsibilities
- Operating a counterbalance forklift to load, unload, and move stock
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Receiving incoming goods and checking deliveries
- Manual handling and lifting of products up to 25kg
- Maintaining accurate inventory and stock control practices
- Keeping the warehouse clean,



organised, and safe
- Assisting with general warehouse and stores duties as required

About You
- Current LF Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive lifting of up to 25kg
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Comfortable working within a small team environment
- Mechanical aptitude or an interest in machinery/equipment is highly regarded, though no trade qualifications are required

The TeamYou'll be joining a collaborative workplace consisting of approximately 6 staff across the warehouse and workshop, supported by a professional office team of 5 staff.
