Premier Conveyors is a leading provider of conveyor belt installation, maintenance, splicing and materials handling services to the mining and heavy industry sectors throughout NSW. With a strong focus on safety, quality and customer service, we continue to grow and are looking for a motivated Stores Coordinator to join our team at our Beresfield workshop.
About the Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Stores Coordinator to manage our workshop stores, inventory and logistics. This is a hands-on role that plays a vital part in ensuring our field crews and workshop have the right materials and equipment available when required.
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the stores, receiving and dispatching goods, maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the efficient operation of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and process incoming deliveries.
- Pick, pack and dispatch materials for projects and maintenance works.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and stock records.
- Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts.
- Order consumables and replenish stock as required.
- Coordinate freight and transport for incoming and outgoing goods.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe stores environment.
- Assist with workshop equipment and asset management.
- Liaise with suppliers, workshop personnel and project teams.
- Operate forklifts and lifting equipment safely.
About You The successful applicant will have:
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or inventory role.
- Solid organisational and time management skills.
- Good computer skills and experience with inventory or ERP systems.
- Current forklift licence (essential).
- Current driver's licence.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
Desirable
- Experience within mining, construction or heavy industry.
- Experience with procurement or purchasing.
- HR driver's licence (advantageous).
