Working alongside experienced strata managers, you'll receive mentoring, on-the-job training and exposure to all aspects of managing residential and commercial strata schemes.
About the Role
As a Trainee Strata Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day management of a portfolio of strata properties, including:
- Building robust relationships with owners, strata committees, contractors and residents.
- Coordinating maintenance and repairs for common property.
- Arranging quotes and engaging contractors.
- Assisting with committee meetings and Annual General Meetings.
- Preparing correspondence, notices and meeting documentation.
- Responding to client enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Learning NSW strata legislation and best practice.
- Supporting senior strata managers with administrative and operational tasks.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience in strata management, real estate, property management, facilities management, building management, construction, maintenance coordination or a qualified trade.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems.
- Confidence working with a variety of people and building positive relationships.
- Good computer skills and attention to detail.
- A current NSW Driver Licence and reliable vehicle.
Previous experience with contractor management, maintenance scheduling or client relationship management will be highly regarded.
