Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll play a key role in driving performance, leading continuous improvement, and developing high-performing teams. About the Role

As Production Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of our Print Finishing department, ensuring production targets, quality standards, service levels and safety expectations are consistently achieved.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll lead two Production Supervisors and work in close partnership with our other Production Manager to ensure alignment across the manufacturing operation. Together, you'll drive operational excellence, share resources, implement best practice and collaborate to achieve business-wide production, quality and customer service goals.

Working closely with Procurement, Warehouse, Maintenance, Quality and Safety teams, you'll identify opportunities to improve efficiency, develop your people and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, coach and develop two Production Supervisors and their production teams.




- Build a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture.
- Partner closely with the other Production Manager to align production priorities, share resources, drive continuous improvement initiatives and deliver operational excellence across the manufacturing facility.
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity and service level targets are achieved.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste and optimise processes.
- Monitor and report on key operational KPIs, using data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Investigate quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventative actions.
- Plan labour and production resources to meet customer demand while achieving financial targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operational performance.
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all OH&S; requirements.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys leading people just as much as improving processes.

You’ll ideally bring:

- Experience in a Production Manager role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Print, bindery or packaging experience is highly regarded but not essential.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams.




- Strong operational and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a quick-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of the business.
- A continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- A commitment to workplace safety and fostering a positive team culture.
