Area9 provides IT support services toover 500 clientsand has two Datacentres that provide a range of Cloud Services to clients using technologies from industry leading vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, HP, Pure Storage and VMware.

We have a position available for an experienced Level 2 Systems Engineer in our Darwin office.

Successful candidates willprovide first and second level technical support via telephone and online support tools, provide onsite/desk side support to our valued clients, have strong communication skills, a current drivers licence and own vehicle and are currently located in Darwin, NT.

Experience required:

Minimum 2-3 years of IT desktop support experience in Windows Desktop environments.

Some Server support experience (Windows 2012-2019).

A solid understanding of computer, network and internet technologies.

Incident management at first and second level with troubleshooting capability.

Previous experience in a helpdesk or call centre workplace working with telephony and job logging software.

Demonstrated experience in Customer service.

Customer Management Skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language.





Demonstrated time management skills, ability to manage competing priorities and follow processes.

Ability to share knowledge with and provide guidance to co-workers.

Maintain accurate timesheet and work records.

Escalation of high priority and complex incidents to management.

Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and effectively handle busy periods.

Qualifications

You will need a relevant qualification such as:

Certificate 3and/or4 in Information Technology

A Degree orDiplomain IT

ITIL Foundation Certification or similar industry qualification

Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)

Microsoft Desktop Administrator Associate (MDAA) or Endpoint Administrator Associate

Other current industry certifications will be favorable such as Fortinet, Cisco, HPe, CompTIA etc.
