Are you an experienced veterinary nurse looking for shifts on a casual basis within a team of passionate veterinary professionals, who thrive on communication, compassion, teamwork and of course, a great sense of humour? Located in the beautiful Lake Macquarie region, only 10 minutes from the nearest beach, with no afterhours and minimal overtime, locum-life is looking pretty sweet!

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a veterinary nurse with 2+ years’ experience to join our team, on a casual basis. Wednesday availability would be highly desired, but our roster can be flexible to accommodate your availability alongside clinic requirements. Shifts are also balanced between front-of-house and back-of-house duties.

Responsibilities

- Have at least 2 years experience.
- Are looking for casual work.
- Are competent and comfortable with all aspects of veterinary nursing.
- You’ll be working a mix of front and back of house.
- Build relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
- We want you to love on our clients fur kids, as if they were your own!
- Contribute to our positive team culture.
- Hold a relevant Veterinary nursing qualification.

- A purpose-built, well-maintained clinic with IDEXX pathology machines, ultrasound, digital radiographs, dental radiographs and a full surgical suite.
- A supportive practice manager and existing team to help you find your feet.
- A steady work load, offering 30 minute consultations and wonderful loyal clients.
- No after hours,
