We're looking for a motivated Assistant Store Manager (Relief) to join our Sydney team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in different environments and is looking to build a long-term leadership career.

No two days are the same. You'll provide relief across our Sydney network, supporting our Store Managers, leading teams, maintaining operational excellence and ensuring every customer receives the high level of service StorHub is known for.

About the Role

As our Sydney-based Relief Assistant Store Manager, you'll step into different centres to provide leadership and operational support during planned leave, vacancies and business initiatives.

You’ll quickly adapt to different teams and locations while ensuring each centre continues to operate safely, efficiently and delivers exceptional customer experiences.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and wants exposure to multiple stores while developing their leadership capability.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Deliver exceptional customer service and create positive customer experiences.
- Help customers find the right storage solution while promoting StoreProtect and other value-added products.
- Support sales growth by converting enquiries and maximising occupancy.
- Lead day-to-day operations when covering for Store Managers.
- Coach and support Store Sales Assistants to achieve strong performance.




- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, safety and security across all centres.
- Complete administration, cash handling and operational tasks in accordance with company procedures.
- Adapt quickly to different teams and maintain consistent operational standards.
- Assist with new store openings, audits and operational projects as required.

About You

You're someone who enjoys working with people, embraces change and is confident stepping into new environments.

You’ll bring:

- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, self-storage or another customer-focused environment.
- Leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong sales and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- The confidence to work independently and make sound decisions.
- A versatile, positive attitude with the ability to adapt quickly.

This is a relief position supporting multiple StorHub locations across Sydney, so a current driver’s licence and the ability to travel between stores are essential.
