About the Team

Joining the Development team at ARTC means being part of a dynamic group focused on growing the business and enhancing our overall commercial performance. You’ll be part of a shaping the future of our business by building demand for freight on rail – not only to help Australia achieve its Net Zero targets but also contributing to safer roads and a more cost-effective mode of transport.

At ARTC, we exist to keep Australia moving and the Development team plays a pivotal role in building the case for rail as a sustainable and efficient transport solution for our nation.

About the Opportunity

As Senior Adviser – Corporate Affairs, you'll be at the forefront ofbuilding ARTC's reputation, leading strategic engagement with government,industry and the media. Working closely with senior leaders, you'll influencekey decisions, manage complex issues and help advance our ambition to growfreight on rail across Australia.

What you'll be doing:

- Lead strategic engagementwith government,



industry and key external stakeholders to strengthenARTC's reputation and influence.
- Develop and deliver advocacystrategies, government submissions, executive briefings and communicationmaterials.
- Manage proactive andreactive media engagement, protecting and enhancing ARTC's public profile.
- Provide trusted advice tosenior leaders on corporate affairs, stakeholder engagement, reputationalrisks and emerging issues.
- Build strong partnershipsacross government, industry and the wider business to support strategicoutcomes.
- Support crisiscommunications, issues management and stakeholder engagement initiativesthat align with ARTC's business objectives.

What do we want from you?

- Demonstrated experience incorporate affairs, government relations, public affairs or strategiccommunications.
- Exceptional written andverbal communication skills, with the ability to influence seniorstakeholders.
- Experience managing media,advocacy and complex stakeholder relationships.
- Strong understanding ofAustralia's local, state and federal political landscape.
- Ability to thinkstrategically while confidently managing competing priorities in afast-paced environment.
