About the Opportunity
We are seeking an Experienced Supervisor - Maintenance for a full time position, based at Myara near Pinjarra. Your tasks will not be limited to, coordinating the maintenance of machinery onsite, ensuring that all staff under your supervision are adequately trained and skilled and that all required tooling and equipment is available and in good condition to undertake the tasks allocated to them.
About You
- Minimum of 3yrs experience in a Supervisory role
- Recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Section 26 Statutory Supervisor Certificate
- Display a clear commitment and focus on the health, safety and well-being of all employees
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence
- Willingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug / Alcohol Screen
- Proven experience in earthmoving equipment maintenance
- Highly developed trouble shooting skills
- Ability to use modern office equipment and proven numeracy/literacy skills
- Excellent planning and managerial skills
Responsibilities
- Follow all company safety, health and environmental procedures including JSA for all tasks
- Delivering effective leadership through engagement, guidance, support and feedback to teams and individuals
- Monitor work tasks closely and aid in resolving any associated issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and practices and conduct safety reviews and inspections
- Diagnose equipment faults and strategies to repair equipment
- Supervise and participate in the repairs and maintenance of equipment and machinery as required
- Identify, interpret and repair for reuse any parts and accessories
- Prioritise, plan and delegate mechanical and maintenance repairs
- Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a strong approach to safety
