What you'll be doing
- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Providing companionship, social engagement and emotional support to enhance the wellbeing of our clients
- Facilitating access to community activities and participation in hobbies and interests
- Advocating for client needs and collaborating with the wider care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality support
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with company policies and procedures
What we're looking for
- A genuine passion for working with older adults and people with disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients
- Demonstrated experience in providing person-centred care and support
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and industry best practices
- A commitment to upholding the rights,
dignity and independence of our clients
- A relevant qualification in aged care, disability support, or a similar field is highly desirable
