Job Title:

Support Worker - Community Access (Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday Shift)

:

We are currently seeking 3 reliable and compassionate Support Workers to assist a friendly and mostly independent participant with weekly community access and outings.

Shift Details:

- Day: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
- Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Location: Glenroy

About the Participant: The participant is friendly, easygoing, and values a balance of social interaction and personal space. He enjoys engaging in conversations with support workers who take an interest in his hobbies, while also appreciating quiet time during outings.

About the Role:

You will support the participant with weekly outings and community access. The role involves frequent use of public transport (primarily trains), as well as occasional driving.

Key Responsibilities:





- Accompany participant on community outings and activities
- Assist with travel, mainly via public transport
- Support during lunch and daily activities
- Provide a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience

Requirements:

- Friendly, patient, and respectful approach
- Ability to balance conversation with allowing personal space
- Comfortable using public transport for extended periods
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- Previous support work experience (desirable)
