Job Description

Morgan Consulting Engineers are looking for a structural engineer for their Brisbane based office. The role offers a motivated person the opportunity to join their forensic department delivering quality structural designs and reports for remediation, alteration and complex recent works. This role provides a wide range of experiences across residential, commercial and industrial developments.

The Role

- Design of a wide range of structures
- Checking the design and documentation of yourself and others
- Carrying out site inspections of projects designed by yourself and others
- Carrying out site visits to assist in the design process
- Liaising with builders, other consultants and clients

What you need

- Completion of a Bachelor of Civil Engineering Degree at an Australian University. A Major in structures would be an advantage
- 0-3 years experience within a consulting environment




- Working knowledge of 3D Frame Analysis software such as Space Gas
- Working knowledge of concrete analysis software such as Inducta Slabs
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and 3D Frame Analysis software
- Strong analytical skills to develop effective and innovative solutions
- The ability to manage your workload to achieve project deliverables
- Enthusiasm to learn
- Desire to build your career in a leadership role, supportive, progressive organisation
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills to develop, maintain and enhance client relationships
- The ability to follow quality and HS&E; procedures
- Australian Permanent Residency/Citizenship is essential
