Are you an experienced HC or MC driver keen to develop a career with an established and rewarding company? Look no further as Cement Australia has the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently seeking applications for a HC Driver to join our team, based at our Pinkenba and Darra depot.
We have vacancies on a Day S hift roster (start time ~5:30am) and Afternoon Shift roster (start time ~3:00pm) operating our Pneumatic Tankers.
As a HC Driver you will:
- Day shifts commencing at 5:30am, and Afternoon shift commencing at 3:00pm with opportunities to start earlier depending on operational requirements.
- Standard Monday – Friday roster with opportunities for overtime on weekends.
- Participate in shifts 10-12 hours long . Overtime may be required at times to support operational needs and to meet customer requirements.
- Be home every night, no more working away from home.
- Load and unload Cement/Pneumatic Tankers and liaise with the Operations team in relation to product delivery.
- Ensure that all product is delivered in a safe and timely manner.
- Have a strong commitment to safety and comply with all Cement Australia Safety Requirements.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous Tanker experience highly desirable
- Demonstrated suitable driving history with at least 1.5+ years of HC or MC experience
- Familiarity with Brisbane and Northern NSW roads highly desirable
- A valid Basic Fatigue Management Accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
- A solid safety and customer service focus
