Have you had enough of FIFO - we are seeking an energetic Workshop Fitter to join our friendly team in our fully equipped workshop specializing in resealing of small to very large cylinders and the service and repair of hydraulic components and systems.

Key Duties

- Resealing cylinders as required.
- Service and repair to hydraulic components and systems.
- Use of SM8 on iPad for job allocations.
- Day to day Workshop duties.
- Maintain tooling to undertake repairs.
- General housekeeping, ensure a clean and safe work workplace.
- Any other duties within the skill and scope of the position as directed.

Requirements

- Operate equipment in a safe manner at all times.
- Previous experience is preferred.
- Be able to follow and comply with work procedures.
- Trade qualified – heavy diesel, fitter & turner, fitter machinist all suitable.
- Experience & ability to diagnose & repair hydraulic components such as cylinders, motors, valves & pumps.
- A strong work ethic and pride in workmanship.
- Ability to work well within a team.
