Tax Accountant | 3-6 Month Contract | Melbourne | Immediate start

FourQuarters are currently recruiting for a Tax Accountant to join a well-established finance team on a 3-6 month contract. This is a fantastic prospect for an experienced tax professional looking to step into a busy, collaborative environment and make an immediate impact.

The Role:

Working as part of the tax team, you'll provide support across a range of tax compliance activities, ensuring obligations are met accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing and lodging BAS, GST and IAS returns
- Assisting with monthly tax compliance activities
- Supporting the preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns
- Assisting with income tax returns as required
- Working closely with the wider finance team to ensure compliance deadlines are met




- Providing ad hoc tax support across the business

About You: To be successful in this role, you'll have:

- Around 3-5 years' experience in tax accounting
- Strong experience with indirect tax compliance, including BAS, GST and IAS
- Exposure to FBT and income tax compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
- Availability to commence at short notice will be highly regarded
