Description
What we are looking for:
Join the Municipal Services Litter Collection Team and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming Alice Springs. We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious team member to deliver high-quality litter collection, street cleaning, general maintenance, and minor equipment repairs across Council facilities.
This role offers hands-on opportunities to make a tangible impact in the community while working both independently and collaboratively.

This role requires availability to work weekends, the ability to work in all weather conditions, and a willingness to perform physically demanding tasks as required.
Skills And Experiences
What You Will Bring:
You will bring energy, reliability, and a strong commitment to making Alice Springs cleaner, safer, and more welcoming. With proven experience in litter collection, general cleaning, labouring, and maintenance, you excel at delivering high-quality results efficiently and safely. Your solid communication skills allow you to follow detailed instructions, read plans, and maintain accurate records while proactively reporting issues. Comfortable working independently outdoors in all weather, you have a clear understanding of WHS requirements and thrive in physically demanding roles. Flexible to work on a 7-day rotating roster, holding a current NT Manual C Class driver licence and with the ability to obtain NT Work Zone Traffic Management qualifications, you are ready to make a tangible impact in the community from day one.
Must Have : Current Manual C Class driver license to be able to drive in the NT, A current National Police Clearance.
Please note: A current National Police Clearance, issued within the last six (6) months, is an essential requirement for this position.
