The Langham, Sydney is looking for a passionate and results-driven Full-Time Senior Sales Executive to join our Sales and Marketing team.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will support the hotel’s sales and revenue goals by securing new business and managing key accounts across Corporate FIT, MICE, Leisure, and Entertainment.
A proactive sales leader, you will leverage market insights and cross-departmental collaboration to maximize revenue across key hotel markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth and achieve targets across Corporate FIT and Group market segments.
- Prospect, negotiate, and convert high-value corporate and group opportunities to expand market share.
- Cultivate enduring, C-suite level relationships through sophisticated, total account management.
- Manage the RFP process, craft bespoke proposals, and secure profitable commercial contracts.
- Deliver compelling property presentations, site inspections, and represent the brand at key trade events.
- Collaborate seamlessly with operations, events, and revenue management to ensure flawless execution.
- Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to elevate junior sales team members.
- Capitalize on luxury market trends, competitive intelligence, and demand patterns to optimize strategy.
- Champion brand partnerships, marketing campaigns, and elite guest loyalty engagement.
- Oversee pipeline integrity and deliver executive-level performance reporting to the Director of Sales
Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in a luxury hotel or sales environment or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- A team player who focuses on organizational success and always has an entrepreneurial approach to business development
- A good communicator working with best practices and innovative ideas
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills to win business and to sustain continuous growth
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, able to communicate effectively
- Able to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Awareness and sensitivity to the concept of luxury and quality
- Sound knowledge of MS office, Opera PMS and Delphi.
