Recharge Petroleum is looking for a reliable Fuel Tanker Driver to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is a Darwin-based role — FIFO is not available. We encourage applicants who live in Darwin or the surrounding areas to apply.

What you’ll do:

- Based out of our Darwin Depot, this role involves linehaul fuel deliveries, and will suit a driver who takes pride in their work, values safety, and enjoys the challenge of working across the NT.
- Operating your own dedicated truck and trailer combination
- Safely completing fuel loading operations at terminals
- Delivering a range of fuel products including avgas, petrol, diesel, oils and lubricants to customers across the NT, including remote stations, roadhouses and regional sites.
- Driving on a mix of sealed roads and unsealed dirt roads
- Accurately completing all load, delivery and trip documentation
- Taking pride in keeping your truck clean, tidy and well maintained
- Following all safety procedures, compliance requirements and fatigue management regulations
- Operating a vehicle fitted with road-facing and driver-facing cameras to support safety and compliance

What You’ll Need:

- A current Multi-Combination (MC) license




- Previous fuel or dangerous goods transport experience will be highly regarded
- Safe Loading Program (SLP) accreditation, or ability to obtain.
- Experience driving in remote NT conditions, including unsealed roads and regional locations, will be highly regarded
- Solid communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Sound knowledge of dangerous goods handling, WHS requirements, load restraint and fatigue management
- Ability to successfully complete all pre-employment checks, including medical assessment and drug and alcohol screening
