Sante Recruitment is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a dual-trained Staff Specialist in General Medicine and Endocrinology to join a leading regional health service in Northern New South Wales.
This Unique Position Offers a Balanced Specialist Workload Comprising
- 0.5 FTE General Medicine
- 0.5 FTE Endocrinology
This role is ideally suited to a physician seeking a rewarding combination of acute inpatient medicine and specialist endocrinology practice within a supportive and progressive regional environment.
The Opportunity
As part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive specialist services across both General Medicine and Endocrinology.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Acute inpatient General Medicine care
- Specialist Endocrinology outpatient services
- Diabetes and complex endocrine disorder management
- Multidisciplinary care planning and consultation
- Teaching, supervision and mentoring of junior medical staff and trainees
- Participation in clinical governance and quality improvement activities
- Contributing to service development and specialist outreach opportunities where applicable

Requirements To Be Considered, Applicants Should Possess
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in:
- General Medicine
- Endocrinology
- Specialist Registration with AHPRA or eligibility for registration
The Following Candidates Are Strongly Encouraged To Apply
- Advanced trainees due to attain Fellowship within the next 6 months
- UK CCT holders in General Medicine and Endocrinology
- Specialist International Medical Graduates (SIMGs) with a Substantially Comparable outcome from RACP in both specialties
- Overseas-trained specialists eligible for specialist registration pathways
