With continued growth, we are seeking a motivated, hands-on Civil Engineering Technician to support project delivery, technical coordination, compliance processes and operational systems across residential and commercial projects in line with the Owen Built Homes brand.

The Role

As a Civil Engineering Technician, you'll assist with the successful coordination and delivery of residential and commercial construction projects.

- Assisting with planning and coordination of residential and commercial construction projects
- Reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- Assisting engineers, supervisors and project staff with project delivery and construction coordination
- Assisting with estimating quantities, procurement and material coordination
- Conducting site inspections and supporting quality and compliance outcomes
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and consultant information across projects
- Supporting project scheduling and construction activities to meet project deadlines
- Assisting with technical reporting,



project documentation and handover information
- Supporting OHS, compliance and quality assurance processes across projects
- Assisting with construction software, documentation systems and project records

Requirements to Succeed

To be considered, you should bring:

- Relevant building, construction or engineering industry experience
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and technical documentation
- Solid organisational and communication skills
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- A collaborative mindset, with flexibility to take on varied tasks
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities across projects
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to construction coordination, technical documentation or project support roles will be highly regarded

Salary range: $85,000 - $95,000
