Locum Occupational Therapist | Regional Northern Territory Hospital
Start: 3rd August | 8 Week Contract + Potential Extension
Up to $80 per hour + Super
Travel allowance up to $1,200 return + FREE Accommodation

We're seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team in a regional Northern Territory hospital. This is an excellent chance to work across a varied rural generalist caseload while developing your clinical skills in a culturally diverse environment.
The Role

- Acute medical and surgical inpatients
- Rehabilitation patients, including stroke and orthopaedic presentations
- Emergency Department referrals, including hand and upper limb injuries
- Acute and subacute ward-based rehabilitation
- Paediatric developmental assessments
- Outpatient rehabilitation

Around 85% of the caseload is with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, with many travelling from remote communities.



This is a fantastic opportunity to build valuable experience delivering culturally responsive care in a supportive setting.

About You

- AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous hospital experience across acute inpatient settings- minimum 3 years
- Confident managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities is highly regarded
- Australian Working Rights- Working Holiday Visa's welcome!
