Job Description

Bestbar Pty Ltd has vacancies for Crane, Hoist and Lift Operators at their business based in Winnellie, NT. This is a permanent, full time position. Skills, Qualifications and Experience To qualify this position, you will have

- Certificate III in Mobile Crane Operations, or equivalent or relevant experience.
- Minimum 1 years' experience
- Must be prepared to apply for appropriate high risk work licence from NT WorkSafe
- Testing the operation of plant before use to ensure safety
- Operating controls to rotate cranes, move cranes on fixed rails and raise, lower and move hooks and objects
- Working in conjunction with Riggers to position hooks and raise, move and place loads
- Controlling the movement of loads,



and monitoring speed, acceleration and braking distances directly and by signalling to other operators
- Monitoring plant operation, instruments and gauges to detect malfunctions and problems
- Lubricating ropes and winches on cranes and replacing worn cables
- Operation of overhead cranes using hand controls suspended by cables from cranes

Remuneration/Salary $79,000 - $85,000 per annum Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates. To be discussed with the successful applicant.
